Halloween 2011

These are pictures from Halloween 2011.

And a picture that Bryce decided to take...so cute!

Misc: Gavyn's towel, the boys, and Red Ribbon Week.

Every morning, Gavyn wakes up and comes upstairs to take a shower. He always comes out with his towel wrapped around his waist and I think that it is just the cutest thing ever.
So...I decided to take a picture of it.

Bryce lost another tooth.

Here is my Cayden.

Bryce loves his daddy!

Red Ribbon Week:

This year, Mrs. Cottrell and I were in charge of Red Ribbon Week at the boys' school. I organized a plane to fly over and take some pictures of the kids at school. Here is what the kids were doing...

And here are some of the pictures that the airplane took...

We also had the kids make a brick wall out of paper bricks. They signed a pledge flag and then signed their brick. We had a third grade class build a pyramid using the bricks and then put it in front of the doors with a statement about how we are standing together we are all strong and will stand against drugs.

Then, later on in the day, we got some red balloons - one for every kid and staff member in the school. We tied on little notecards on the bottom with the address of the school and asked whoever found the balloon to please call or send a letter to the school telling us where the balloon was found. Then, we went outside and released the balloons. The kids loved it!

Here is a picture of the balloons and a picture of Bryce with his teacher, Mrs. Cottrell.

This is Gavyn with a group of his friends while they were waiting to release the balloons.

And here is a picture of what it looked like when we released the balloons.

I had so much fun planning the activities for the week.
I am excited to be able to do it again next year.

Bryce's 9th Birthday

In September 2011, Bryce turned 9 years-old. He opened presents before going to school.
His favorite gifts were a BYU nightlight and a BYU blanket.

After school, we invited family over and had a water party for him. We have never been able to have a water party for him before as his birthday is at the end of September, but it was unusually warm this year so we were able to get wet without getting cold. Here are some pictures of the kids going down the slide.

Bryce is such an awesome little boy. He is the sweetest little thing and always has a great big smile on his face. Bryce is my one child who is a little bit more timid. He likes to take in what is around him and when he first meets you he will be extremely quiet; however, after a while you will not be able to get him to stop talking. Many times during the winter, when the kids get home from school, Bryce will not come in with them. I know that when this happens Bryce is outside shoveling snow off our driveway and then he will move on to our neighbors driveways. He is a great kid and is always trying to make others happy. I absolutely adore this little boy and I am so glad that he is my son. Happy Birthday B-ryce Man!

5 Generations

When Cayden was born, he became the 5th generation to five living lines on Curtis' side. He still has two great-great grandparents alive as one died when he was 3 and two died last year.
This has always amazed me.
Here is a picture of the boys with their dad, grandma, great-grandpa, and great-great-grandma.

1st Day of School - 2011

Here are the kids and some of their neighbor friends on the first day of school.

Cayden started 5th grade, Bryce 3rd grade, and Gavyn 1st grade.

This is the perfect year for me where I have all three boys in the same school.

I love it!
